This November, Pratthanadee Foundation proudly conducted the Financial Planning Workshop under the Better Me for Girls project, reaching 393 underprivileged high school and junior high girls across Ubon Ratchathani and Sisaket provinces. Thanks to the generous support of the OVOLPE Foundation, we empowered young women with the financial knowledge and tools they need to secure brighter futures.

Why This Workshop Matters:
For 96% of participants, this was their first-ever financial literacy workshop. The girls learned practical skills in budgeting, saving, and managing financial risks, as well as tools to make informed decisions about their education and future careers.

Key Outcomes:

  • Knowledge Growth: Pre-workshop scores averaged 58%, while post-workshop scores soared to 92%.
  • Confidence in Application: 96% of participants felt ready to apply what they learned in real life.
  • Resource Awareness: 93% gained insights into financial planning tools and available resources for managing finances.

The girls’ feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with many expressing excitement to start saving, reduce unnecessary spending, and work toward financial goals. Teachers praised the interactive format and its ability to address critical gaps in education.

Looking Ahead:
We are deeply grateful to the OVOLPE Foundation for their unwavering support in making this program a success. Together, we’re transforming lives and enabling girls to build smart finance habits for bright futures.

Building on this momentum, we’re excited to announce the next workshop in the Better Me for Girls series, focusing on Prevention of Danger, scheduled for January 2025. Stay tuned for more updates!
